The Ladder... myleague.com (for all mp players...)

Post by jonboylondon »

Hey all...

As the tornament is underway I have set up a ladder system on myleague.com (Cases ladder.) This will import the results from the tornament and allow any new players to also sign up...It will take me a while to set up the website fully but you can log-in and join now... 8)

Just go to http://www.myleague.com/botf/ and sign up as a free member..!!

Please be very carefull to read the terms and conditions as they are very strict over sexual themes, flaming, swearing etc... and can shut down a league for this...

See you there... :D

Ok all i now have a chat room up and working for our BOTF MP Ladder homepage and the music will follow shortly..... :D

-----

This means that Mp community now have a chat room purely for themselves. Its also slightly more high tech than the ewarzone one i think though im not 100% sure yet. I hope that this will serve the AFC community needs

-----

Also the room is now functioning as a ladder so can we all start to sign up if you want to participate in the ladder system. All are welcome not just all those in the tournament and all you have to do is communicate the result and the rest automatically follows.... :D :D :D

From the Ladder site....

Reporting the Match

Once your match is completed, the loser of the match is responsible for reporting the loss immediately. You can report your matches using the 'Report Loss' button located on the 'Standings' tab. Please note the ‘Report Loss’ link should only be used for League matches and not for tournament matches; you should consult the TD with any questions regarding reporting tournament matches. If you have any problems reporting a loss, you should contact the Admin staff and request assistance

Reporting the Loss

•In one-on-one matches, the loser of the match reports the loss to the winner.
•In partner matches, each member of the losing team reports a loss to both partners of the winning team. At the end of the match, you would either gain two wins or report two losses.
•In “free for allâ€

Hey all,

Currently we have signed up

Mickar, Torrad, Carcher, Pugwash, Chaos, Chris and Dissy..

However I would like to get some more people signed especially those from the tournament...

TrevTones, Sir Fluidhat, Pigman, Mentat, Thrawncrusher, Ruthlessferengi,Jigglypuff, Severenth, Flocke (and borg co), and also some of the other familiar names - Thunder, DrBreen, MrD, Martok, Gowron, Geon, Stardust, DCER, Dafedz, Garek and others..

This would be perfect for those who dont have huge amounts of time or those who travel such as trev or Garek as just a simple one off game rather than a long tournament which I understand can be time consuming...

I would love to see 7500+ members as this would entitle me to a free enema available to me with there loyalty scheme but i realise this wont happen so I would just like to see as many as possible....

All the best

I signed up.........are you sure this thing will work without paying for it?

It just looked like everything is disabled without a membership.

It is a great idea however to keep a ranking system. I hope we can unite all the botf multiplayers so there wont be a shortage of MP games to be had! :-)

Ladders only work when people play and report. All games should be ladder games if you've signed up to myleague. There shouldn't be an option to say, 'this isn't a ladder match'.

For example, Dissy and I have already signed up and we are playing a udmL game. If I lose I will report the loss on myleague, even though we didn't say it was a ladder match at the beginning.

If everyone from the tourny sign up then I think this could all be done manually by each person... (please read all the challenge rules though for the future including formal challenges as if we get a fair number of people we may have to use this!!) However if not I believe I can do it in the admin section. However I would ask those involved in both NOT to enter any results from the tournament at present.

Im delighted that Mickar and Dissy had there first game and Carcher and Torrad did too ( He is now in the groovy stats section and ranked 1 as well!!....lol)

Keep up the good work and congrats to Torrad as our first Official Winner and commiserations to Carcher...

Great Stuff !!!!! :D :D :D

Everyone in the tournament doesn't need to sigh up to myleague to post results. Those that have signed up and played each other in the tournament should be posting their losses now and not waiting.

Dissy and I haven't finished our game yet and we didn't talk about posting losses on myleague. I will post a loss if I lose because we are both signed up to myleague. I know that if I play anyone on myleague and I lose I must post the loss, that is why I signed up for the ladder in the first place.

I can't speak for anyone else but that is what I will do.
