Just was looking at my old bookmarks and found this. Has anyone fixed the game so it doesnt crash so bad? Good to see a bunch of vets I remember still playing. I remember spending many nights with Ciggy, Sermeca, Mikar, and Plasus doing cloak vs non cloak games. Has anyone figured out how to make phasers fire on created ships?

well, he may stil reconsider, Captain_Chao. Game still crashes as badly as before but with WZ it is stable enough to get the game to the end - not too bad:) and yes, progress has been made - check out multi-installers by thunder - to die for...

From the screen shots in this thread I dont know why Mick didnt bring Warbirds. It would of been a easy win vs those Kvorts with the uncloaked TT. I havnt played this for probably 5 years. I dont even know if my system can run this game.

I know Mick can hang. If there are 3 other players as good to do cloak vs non I may be interested.

mick is in his own class as far as skill is concerned, probably bordering untouchable - only Carcher can beat him but they keep it very quiet and don't tell anybody

, but there are willing guys to play - problem is time zone. I know dissy a and chris, RSE, want to start a team tourney...what time zone are you in?

just to let you know, Crazygoopdog and i started our game. he is rom, i am kling. we've had our first installement but have had trouble getting our game to continue - power failures at CGD home to blame. Will try to finish this gam this week, if not tomorrow. PM me when you are ready to finish, CGD.

Carcher and I played our match

He took Klings, I took Cards

The crucial early battle was round turn 25 when my 13 HC and 3 fast met his 11 HC 3 scouts. The battle looked very close but i someone sneaked out with 5 (heavily damaged) HC. This forced Carcher on the defensive and gave me the time I needed to expand.

We finally met again round turn 53 - my 30+ hc would probably have handled his 21 HC but we never got to fight. I had just destroyed a couple of his systems so carcher conceded.
