AFC members ban together?

Post by jonboylondon »

Hello All

After the discovery that etan is actually RSE and now two more RSE have popped out of the woodwork.... I request to fly the flag in warzone under the initials AFC_jonboylondon (represent 8) ) and get a few of the AFC mp members to join up to redress this tragic and quite frankly frightening 8O (seriously how many now....!!!!) inbalence.

Thunder as a moderator has voiced no concerns but asked for courtesy sake (and rightly so) to ask AFC as he is the official Leader.

I have two members who have agreed to potentially sign up Carcher and Ruthless from the WZ mp room and all you have to do is enter AFC on the clan settings when logging in.
Any others such as Flocke,Trev,Sean who have a bit of experience could help train would be really usefull as would all others...crashpm,omne etc...

Is this ok with all parties concerned?

Many thanks,

JBL

P.s - its just a bit of fun to maybe re-dress the phenomenon that is....RSE the Romulan Star Empire....ooopppss i mean Red Squad Elite......

lol

:P

Also keep in mind as far as "RSE" goes they are now part of our community they are not working together to take it over or anything else as far as I know, and as RSE_chris has pointed out they are Individual not a group (no one person speaks for them) and all have differant opinions. and they should be addressed as Individual not as a group. Also remember they are human too, they make mistakes just like everyone else.

And username changes are not done very often. And duplicate accounts are not allowed.

I request to fly the name only in the WZ room not the BOTF website Thunder you miss understand..... 8O 8O 8O 8O

Just if anyone asks in WZ what AFC is we can paste a link here - i meant nothing official because as you say the RSE are very much a part of this website.

Sorry  i should have posted as a topic in its own right i did not want any rank or title other than just to be able to use AFC on the wz room...

@ jonboylondon,

You are fine  , that was just post up as a reminder to everyone.

I understood it was for warzone, just wanted to remind people we don't change usernames very often.

I think it is a great idea to show your support.

I just don't want any battles here. keep it in game play.

also if anyone who uses RSE_ to explain why it is used feel free

It's a good idea, but in competition I would have to think about a BotF:United clan as well.
Ok, there have been alot of inactivity in the last months, but I've still some contacts in ICQ, etc.

And yep, RSE definitely needs some competition in warzone! 8)

We dudes just wear RSE for old times sake, since we were all RSE back in the day @ msn gaming zone..

and FYI Etan was RSA *NOT* RSE

Etan was also a member of the KU(Klingon Union)

RSE and KU had a big war, which RSE won and KU ended up being disbanded!

So in terms of Etan, he is historically our enemy :)

For those who don't know the distinction between RSE and RSA. All RSE were once members of Red Squad ALLIANCE, however all the elite gamers in RSA got fed up of bureacracy so they split to form their own 100% elite gaming clan, Red Squad Elite :)

phew...now i feel even less warm and cozy - so the pretty good players (RSA) got distilled out into a superselect category of their own (RSE) - tough competition, i say :))

my daily quote thing here tells me not to worry folks, as per Ovid

but from what i see, in a tourney you might snag a barracuda, and it may eat you alive, but still, no risk no fun... :)

besides, inagine is a gamer wearing RSE f*cked up his game, and you beat him....

You would have a VERY good reason to be smug.

however, i've learned that "smug" can easily transform into "smush" or "smudge" then into "bruise"... :)

but it would still be some boast to put on your signature.

I doubt that we will see it very often though

Great idea, but as it has been pointed out, RSE are part of the AFC community, so maybe another name rather than AFC would be more fitting for your tag/group? :P

Maybe RSE can be the elite unit for AFC and you guys can promote those that can "control the galaxy" so to speak.

AFC is a good acronym for a botf clan and it has the potential to be a huge group.

I agree with Chris, smaller groups would be a better idea, and if each clan has a set number of players, it would be great for team MP.

But we must watch that people do not just have rooms for their clan only, and play no other clans, as this will become boring.

We could even have a news forum for each clan.
