talking about William Shatner...he's scheduled to receive an award from the Governor General at the end of april here in Ottawa, Canada...too bad I can't get a ticket to go there...meeting captain Kirk in person...whooooaaa

I was shocked as well to read he was 80 as well. That would mean he was in his mid 30's when he did Star Trek in the 60's. Man he looks so much younger than he reall is. And here I thought he was the youngest who ever made captian for his time.

Why I thought Kirk made captian in his 20's I have no idea. I just can't believe how young he looks.
