BOTF MP Tourney

Post by sab1985 »

Does anyone want to try to set up a big multi-player tourney for BOTF?

Alright everyone,

We are past due for a Tournament, We should be able to get the 8 member willing/ready to play. And I will tell you what I will be the first to join. (most of you know how rare for me to even play now a days)

Players should have all ports setup and ready before tournament starts. I will be in both room ("botf room" and "other games")if anyone needs help setting port up and testing of connections.

We just need a start date for tournament and if this will be a vanilla or a mod tournament?

sign me up. i personally would favor playing latest udm3 mod, no mpr. I think very aggressive AI is a bonus and will add a interesting twist to the game. if vanilla, lets make sure it's the version with planet pops balanced and AI lines of productions reorganized, not the complete error correction mod with all the fixes. alternative and - and safe one too - fluids mod, which is essentially vanilla with candies/toys/balanced for mp.

just got ports all set up at the new place!! Count me in!! ps. sorry for the late response!

[EDIT] Upon inspection, if OP decides to return again, we'll have 6 peeps, which would work for a quick tourny. It's no 8 people, but better than nothing!!

Yes we do need to start talking about when and what version to play.

I know RF would like to play UDM3.01db, but would be away until next week or so

sab1985 is new and was thinking vanilla when he posted, He has not played much but has been hanging out in BOTF room.

I am open to any version and time.

so may be just keep it simple and go with "fluids mod" t4 med and maybe start next weekend april 27 - 29 and continue as needed from there if not completed that weekend.

Hmm, I think I might be up for it. I'd prefer UDM but I'm happy either way. (BOTF_keithgb on eWarzone)

Hi everyone,

here is the bracket

If new player does not entered soon the first loser will play Praetorian.

So contact your match up via PM to setup a time to start your game.

Fluids multi player mod
t4, med map, irregular, hard, many minors,
top player of bracket gets first pick of races
restarts are allowed only if both player choose to do so (must be done on turn 1). (default is no restarts)

good luck
