Might be a glitch. Subjugated another major races homeworld, playing the Cardassians, and the option to build a labor camp is NOT available.

Thank you

nope not a glitch, a major races homeworld is a "conquered home system" this is a different politic requirement. Labor Camp requires "subjugated system"

Roger. So no reason in conquering other major race's home systems. I wont make that mistake again.

Thank you.

Call it my OCD, although I figure there is no way around this aside from scraping the old ships and building all new ones, but it bugs me when all of a certain type of ship instantly change/upgrade to a newer model. I guess it wouldn't bother me as much if this didn't leave the ships damaged to a good degree. Just saying since I figure that was they best you could do given the programming limitations without the afore mentioned scraping the old ships and building new ones.

If you do another update or version of UDM please make the territory colors have more pop. On my brightest monitor setting (I know you told me how to change it but it was greek to me, sorry) I can't tell Klingons from cardassian and federation areas are about invisible. Also could you make the dominion menus a little less psychedelic/migraine friendly. I would love to play them but I cant take looking at the screen.

Love the work despite how I sad and play it daily for hours.
Thank you.

I understand why, techinically, you cant have a labor camp on a conquered homeworld but it just sounds like symantics to me. Again, I figure its a programming thing.

In this Mod i have a lot of crashes or game freezes, does anybody knows why?
Using Win7 and the 1024x768udm patch, maybe my graphic drivers are not compatible with the patch?
Vanilla Game with 1024x768patch shows me no problem and plays stable.

in most cases it is video driver related. plus the 1024 version is a little buggy you can try to use these files.
1024.rar
(359.71 KiB) Downloaded 165 times
just extract these files to the install path you have 1024 installed (default would be C:\BOTF\UDM and C:\BOTF\UDML)

these are edited vanilla mpr files for 1024 x 768

Is a replacement graphic engine good? Sorry just not into the technical aspect of the mods. I was lucky to get UDM running in under an hour.

Thank you.

hi,

thanks for this great mod. It makes way more fun then the normal version.

Is it possible that the computer controlled enemys cooperate better with each other? Can you give me advice how do deal with large groups (0-27 heavy Cruiser; ~40heavy destroyer) especially of the Dominion, if there are groups like this in a few sectors and similar groups from the klingons.
I am Romulan and own ~ a quarter of the galaxy and have the largest fleet, but war with federation, cards, klingons and dominion.

thanks,
(excuse mistakes in my english, im from germany)
