Increase damage when ships attack a system?

Hi BotF-community,
is it possible to increase/edit the general damage of a system (body count & buildings destroyed) when ships attack the system without increasing their torpedo damage?
I searched, but found nothing helpful.

if you don't want to increase offence, you need to lower defense...

lower output for bunker networks, orbital batteries and shield generators or any other building for defense.
also lower race ground combat values.

I hoped there is a code to edit. how does BofF calculate the damage of my ships bombing and for example monsters like Borg?

the reason why I want to increase the damage of bombing is because it takes basically too much turns for e.g. 6 cruisers to destroy a complete system of 100 population in BotF.

I don't know of any code that directly effects bombing results. For quicker results without increasing ship stats would be use more ships. :wink:

maybe it will do the trick when I multiply all numbers of shields, hull and firepower with 10.

Pop Support, Ground Combat, Orbital Batteries, Credit Output -> Adjusting ship weapons bombing damage (SH, population & buildings)

should work, with x (default 1) being the bombing damage multiplier

Since I multiplied the values (weapon damage, shield, hull, shield recharge, neutron star damage & OB), I have even more fun with BotF! :smile:
All systems in my mod have a growth rate of 0.0% (all planets sulfuric, slow growth), so the importance of a strong fleet is now much higher. The romulans suddenly declared war and their fleet destroyed 2 of my new colonies (populations about 45) in only one turn (!), before my fleet reached their borders.
After that I erased 3 of their systems. Qapla'! :smile:
