BOTF Game Disc not intalling

Video card/chip info: GeForce GTX650

Was Birth of the Federation running on this system prior to this install No

What have you already tried to solve the problem?
I inserted the disc into my computer. Clicked run autoplay and nothing happens.

Detailed description of your issue
Hello. I was going through my storage and found the Star trek BOTF game and tried to install on my system. I did both normal and administrator to install the game. An arrow popped up like it was going to install and then nothing. All the files show up in file explorer but neither the StarTrek.exe. or setup.exe run. Will it not play on Windows 10. Have gone back as far as Win XP on the compatibility test. Any help appreciated. All of the topics seem to be if you downloaded it from somewhere but I actually have the Game Disc. Thank you in advance.

as you have already found out windows 10 does not like original cd, the all in one works on windows 10 but requires dxwnd to be compatible.
