when you have over 9 Dili and over 9 events than the fonts will overlap
also when you have +100k credits

the textbox needs to be a little bigger

that should effect every res every race for german versions

note; English version should be able to display over a trillion credits now :grin:

i changed the LCARS again to be round for every hd_*.tga - i think it looks fine:

Looks really great, but you might fix the flickering at the bottom edge of the combat window (one-pixel frame issue?): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpHNO5zLuQE&t=145s

Surely if you are done we can add all stuff, not included in the AIO installer, to the download section.
I don't know how many bugs is too many but that point is reached somewhere before however many in BotF is.

ah thank you - i will look into it - i guess the box is 1px to large each ;)
i will look into it with all races too

EDIT:
i fix the bottom 1px by changing hb_scrn.tga (adding one more fixed line on the bottom)
also the 1px on right side is NOT fixed

now i need to know how to place the whole combat window (also the fullscreen) 1px to the right (its not with modifying "htactscn.wdf")

would be nice if anyone could help and give some inside ;)

hey, it would be nice if you can tell me how to bring the whole combat screen 1px to the right (as i have an offset somehow)

in that video you can see that i have a true 16:9 ratio 1152x648
it works fine on 3 of 4 edges
it works now fine in fullscreen - no issues with bar/galaxy-background on right side)
but the right edge has issues - the whole combat screen gets shifted 1px to the left - notice the dot under the mouse cursor (appears when off the combat screen - disappears when i am on the combat screen) // so i have to shift the combat screen (that is loaded into the placeholder) 1px to right

ps i have no border right and top

pps if that is not possible i should simply add 1px border to right that is not transparent - but this wouldnt really fix the issue.

- tested: other races have same issue too - combat view is 1px shifted left - so you get red/green/yellow/blue bar on right side in Fullscreen and same mouse over ship issue with shifting
-tested: confirmed same behaviour in AiO 2.0

this is a know issue, and don't think there is a fix. I think it is a 3d issue reflecting to edge.

vanilla 800 had a black gradient around window but that did not help in my attempts.

btw even vanilla has this issue.

well, when i use 1152x648 and put it to the edge i dont have that 1px border in fullscreen combat
then you just need to make placeholder 1px wider and it should work with fullscreen and normal.

yet it would still shift to left side.

well, its like Vanilla 800x600 - those white dots on right side.
yet it has no border (5px) like AiO or MI

still shifts the combat screen 1px to left - but you said its not fixable.

I won't be of much help, since I never worked with GUI and/or 3D (or even MPR+) codes.

I don't know how the position of the 'not full screen' combat window is determined within the GUI (position data in trek.exe or stbof.res file?).

All I can see in trek.exe is this:

ds:591910 scn_float_? (read for tactical camera?) is set to 0.18 or 0.22 -> perhapps one needs to be adjusted +/- 0.005 ?

0.18 (3FC70A3D70A3D70A) is somehow close to resolution code (default 800x600) -> 4 codes

i cant find any of those offsets in my trek.exe...
i even cant find the float value of 0.22 or 0.18 :/

EDIT: ok found it - need to use BotF assembler offset ;)
EDIT2: nope - still cant find any floats there :/

First you should check whether they are listed in the trek.exe changes in the resolution patch tool (QD said it's about 200 code locations e.g. all 800/600 and stuff like sector pixel size values).
I don't know how many bugs is too many but that point is reached somewhere before however many in BotF is.
