this is needed in german to make rounds over 100 shown on build screen on left top corner.
it also allows to show if a production has a 3 digit time.

i also added the 3 digit round for hintel.wdf

BotF_1366x768_german_newins.zip
added fed intel

EDIT
After loading new fed intel and checking other races the were 5 other files needing editing for klingons and romulans in 1366
BotF_1366x768_german_turn.zip
(7.73 KiB) Downloaded 54 times
now I need to check other resolutions

like I said before, each error found may take hours of testing and editing

edit 2; I found 7 files needing edit in 800 German for not displaying turn number
edit 3; found 6 more in 1024, error not present in 1920
edit 4; found pixel combat screen error on all 5 races on both 1024 and 1920

Instead of troubling thunderchero with GUI fixes, in case you are interested, and it is easy/quick to do for you, some ECM textures could use polishing:

Minor issues with hh1, hh2, hm1 & hm2:
Image

Galaxy, Galaxy-X & Nebula:
- Nacelles/Impulse -> Red too blackish/dark -> should be more red/orange so engines don't look powered down
- indicated ship names / registries would be nice

Nebula:
- Nacelles -> blue area corrupted one side only (texture part not centered)
- Deflector -> light blue area corruped with dark blue (in game looks powered down, for some reason galaxy deflector looks not that bad)

Ambassador -> Nacelles underside black/burned area

Sovereign hh3 -> remove fake shadows (if possible)

And here is ECM trek.exe update patch (ignore conflict), so ECM should be again less crashy than vanilla:

I don't know how many bugs is too many but that point is reached somewhere before however many in BotF is.

The problem is not the texture, the models were poorly constructed without separate polygons with lighting effects. so with these hob files when on dark side (shadow of lighting) will always be very dark or look powered down.
Spocks-cuddly-tribble wrote: Wed Jan 04, 2023 4:40 pm Nebula:
- Nacelles -> blue area corrupted one side only (texture part not centered)

once again that is a hob issue mapping can not be changed without completely rebuilding model and losing all damage effects.

again polygon for deflector has no lighting effects (model issue)

Really the only way to do this would be to mirror the left -> right. but this would mess up registry on top of saucer.
here is quick edit attempt

Thank you for Ambassador & Sovereign, but this isn't important/urgent and wasn't aimed at you.
Missing lighting polygons and external shadow effects is understandable.
But why don't have the ugly default textures the same deflector/nacelle issues using the same hob files?
You can see the errors (Nebula Nacelle/Deflector) and wrong colors (red engine parts) in my gif files.

looking at nebula the polygons for side of necelle, the mapping is on edge, this force same color (blurry) though out the face.

this can not be fixed without editing file and reconverting and losing damage textures.

now if someone completely understood how to move mapping (hex edit vertex's for texture mapping) it might be possible.

Thanks mate, will test soon, but I did not want to put anyone out. I don't get the context of 'registries'?

thank you - usually german words are longer :/

on galaxy screen:
for Federation when you have more than 9 Dili and over 9 events the blue event text gets put over "Dilithium"

also even with both under 10 the event number will be direct after dilithium - so the textbox needs to be bigger by at least 6-8 px

here is what i mean:
DIL over 9 // Events under 10
Ergeignisanzeige_Dil.jpg
Ergeignisanzeige_Dil.jpg (23.12 KiB) Viewed 2568 times
DIL over 9 // Events over 9
Ergeignisanzeige_both.jpg
Ergeignisanzeige_both.jpg (23.23 KiB) Viewed 2568 times

will test this for all 5 races

tested - all races should be affected by this ;)
