I was wondering if there was a way to have minors develop their own empires? In otherwords have minors (really in mods) start colonizing other systems like majors.
This would probably work better if maps could be bigger. It would add to the game if one could run across minors with several systems under their control.

I think by "someday with MPR++" he means that function doesn't exist and you would need code called from an outside source.
Another game I play has similar restrictions on server software that are being worked around by .net strings calling code from outside of the original core.
I too have seen your MPR++ shell as an opportunity to grow beyond the limitations of the original machine code embedded into our well worn trek.exe. It's certainly not there yet, and it may not even be your intent... but there is some seed of potential there I promise.
