.tga-file for new building

Post by DominikJay »

Hi there :)
I'm currently trying out the Ultimate Editor and wanted to create a new building in stbof.res. I used UE to create the .tga file that I want to use as the building's thumbnail (Tools -> convert Image to 16 Bit -tga). Then I uploaded the .tga file under Edit -> Other -> Files. If I now want to create a new building, my newly uploaded .tga file is not in the list for the building image.

What am I doing wrong? It would be great if someone had a tip :)

Best regards

Dominik

welcome to the life of editing.

base image file name must be max of 4 characters, plus each image must be correct size with correct "base name"+suffix
I will use "base" in examples;

base_b.tga (270x225px)
base170.tga (170x142px)
base.tga (120x100px)
basew.tga (120x100px) "image shaded/colorized green to represent in construction"
base_60.tga (60x50px)
base_30.tga (30x30px) "this image normally has a special purple boarder"

There is also special image required for different resolutions
