even though your ship is sitting in sector
Just to be clear: You edited the savegame, let a turn pass, saved and after that loaded the savegame?

Because if you found a colony, save and then reload the system will be shown.

No, UE should have marked it as a known sector when UE placed ship

if I leave that sector then return to same sector it is then known. did not try not moving and waiting

I recently noticed the same bug when I edited one save for the 100 sovereign vs 100 battleships battle.

Weird bug when minor races share a building (not a marked special building). The building becomes listed in major race tech screen. Might not be a UE bug, could just be the way BotF is. Kinda annoying, because I want to share the Bio-Tech Institute for Kellerun and T'Lani. :/

"needed race" check would be my guess, I would just edit one of your unused structures to duplicate of Bio-Tech Institute

Yeah, that's what I did, but I wanted to continue playing this save game.. I can still, but the structure will never show up unless I put it into the save manually with UE or some other method :/

not sure if this has been reported?

when exporting any ship I get a message like this

Code: Select all

Failed to export CH1 texture 'ch1_a.gif' :
java.lang.NullPointerException
but when I reopen failed ship pack, I see warning triangle with this message;

Guess this is same like: viewtopic.php?p=63099#p63099
Added to my todo list, but for now I am still busy with some more serious modding project.
But keep listing issues when you run into new ones. Later this year I might find some time for it.

Ah well, then there is nothing I need to tell about, right?

I wanted to do some modding work for long, but by the end of last year I got some ideas I need to try. Furthermore, after investigations on the mpr97 engine, I found that the interface matches pretty well with SDL3 one. But without having tried, I can''t tell much about whether it is going to work and where I'm heading. But I have a good feeling and couldn't stop myself any longer from testing things out.

Either way, I will report back when I have achieved anything decent.
