Team Tourney

Post by Clampy »

You guys,

I am new to the world of BOTF online, but I must say that you guys have bought a old game out of its crystal case, and into my BD drive.

I noticed that you have a singles tournament, which I will definetly be up for signing up for, however do you do doubles tourneys too? Or is this not feasible?

I have never done MP before by the way on this game.

Well, for having a tournament of 2vs2 we might need some more players, I think.
But it has been in discussion some time ago and should be alot of fun!

Currently Season 3 is in preparation, but on hold till I got some more opinions on my proposal.
With only two posted opinions, interest seems not be worth starting it any soon. Maybe it's better to wait for some new patches anyway..

Here's the Link to Season 3 pre-discussion: viewtopic.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=475

But you don't need to wait on tourney for playing MP!
Just have a look to WarZone. On fridays and weekends, most games are played. :)

Will do matey, thanks.

Also, can MP games be saved, and resumed at a later date? Its just that if I was to play and needed to dash out, etc, I would like to save and resume at a later time, than to forfiet.

Sure!
With autosave activated it will always save current and previous turn, but overwrite the saves whenever you finished a new turn.
It's one of few benefits of botf and you'll really need it in mp, cause botf crashes more or less frequently anyway.
