I was able to get on play some today and to answer your question, no, it does not show Auto on the F6 screen when it is checked in the game before a crash. Let me know if there is anything else I can check.

Ok, so this is just a visual issue in the Production view, right? I mean, the colonies are not really on Auto, they do not autobuild stuff, correct? As long as you don't click on the checkbox everything is good?
Since in your particular case you don't use Auto at all, it does not have an impact on your games?

Regardless, it is an odd issue and it should be traced and fixed. Just not sure how...
I'll try something in the next patch, but I'm not very confident.

This is an indication that the game is going to lock up when I hit end turn so there is no way to know what affect it would have on the colonies as it is not possible to get to the next turn when this issue occurs. I still can't find a way to actually reproduce this intentionally, but when I see this glitch occur, it always locks at the end of the turn.

I'm not sure the new patch will help, but it's worth to try.
Have you tried ending turn with CTL+Enter instead of the turn button?

I could try the button and see what that does. I normally use CTRL+Enter.

No luck. New patch and still locks with the button to end turn.

Unfortunately, I can't think of anything else that might help...
I guess it would be a stretch to think that Linux has an issue with CheckBoxes.
