In case you are reffering "The Supremacy" from Star Wars, you are in the wrong forums and I didn't get your joke.

Otherwise being an experienced software developer myself, I find it very disrespectful to make such a posting on AFC forums. We all know there is only one Supremacy in here. And developing some complex software like this takes an amazing effort, even when you have the best skill and experience.

Furthermore with BotF there are endless possibilities for enhancements. What defines "completion" therefore is just a matter of setting a limit to what one wants to accomplish. And every project we have, has a very different development focus and a whole different development story. Not considering all the different personal life stories.

It would have been nice when you had clarified on your posting somehow. It might have been meant as a joke of whatever silly kind. But then in my view it is very short minded and completely misplaced in here. Like I already have messaged you, from my side have free expression of writing, but please lets try to keep it a respectful forum and clarify when there are misunderstandings. :!:

After comparing the "old" Trek and the "nu" Trek for a while, I feel the new version's biggest problem is its pacing—it is simply too fast.
In the older Trek, there was time to pause and reflect on events, whereas in the new versions (like Discovery and JJ Abrams movies), everything just whizzes by at a machine-gun pace.

The Strange New World has fixed some of this, but the action sequences are still too fast.

By the way, one shot in the third season of SNW showed a space grid that looked pretty much like the one in BotF—it was actually quite cool.

At one point, I wondered if race played a role in this; while watching the *Enterprise* series, I got the impression that Travis Mayweather was a character whose job was to ask all the dumb questions. The reason became clear to me while watching a particular episode: I noticed a situation where Captain Archer asked him something, and he replied, "I'm not reading anything."
