Great! I'll check this out as soon as I have finished the random events poject.
Thanks again for all the efforts you put into this, Gowron

At the moment with nothing. But just in case that Gowron is interested, then he would need small gas giant grapics in future.

Or he could just use the whole Animation pack I will be putting together shortly after the release of my mod (GM) which takes advantage of a half sun to give more room for planet graphics.
Also suns can be made even smaller to where just a tiny bit of it shows (which is the main reason why Ive created the border for the solar systems, all races borders will be included in the Animation pack)

Hmm, I cannot reproduce that bug. All corresponding edifice and racetech entries seem to be OK.
Maybe you were using a savegame from an older BoP version?

Version 1.2b is available
This time I've completely rewritten the subroutine that generates additional major empire starting systems. Now the systems feature both the full range of planet numbers (4-9, all planet classes possible) AND a fixed maximum population range (330-360).
Minor Races will start from evolution levels similar to those of the major empires (no longer depending of difficulty and map size):
Code: Select all
sum of empire starting lvs minor race starting lv (1-10)
< 9 0-2
9-12 2-3
13-16 3-4
17-20 4-5
>20 5-6
Aside from that, I've implemented four more bugfixes by Spocks-Cuddly-Tribble: liberation of major empire home systems, liberation of former native systems, receiving war declarations from minor races and ships/orbitals surviving orbital combat with 0 HPs.
On a side note, I've reduced the upper system size limit for free systems by 90, so the highest possible population capacity is now 500.
(barring random events ^^)
Jellico wrote:Nope, I started a new game with the release of 1.2a. Two liberated and then membered minors also have the same problem: the Klingons constructed some Class 4 Foundries over existing industry and the only way to permanently assign more workers than the number displayed was to scrap all foundries. The next turn revealed Mark V Fabricators on Vulcan and Pakled, but it took three attempts because of game crashes.
I doublechecked it again, and both edifice.bst and racetech.tec are set correctly.
So if it's not a savegame version conflict, then it's most likely a corrupt install.
