Re: Supremacy new release
Diplomatically that would be so cool. But how would you implement that in gameplay though? Choosing from a drop down list of systems for the minor to cede?
Or perhaps it would be easier to say to the minors something like "let us colonize the systems within your territory (except your world), or else.."

Re: Supremacy new release
New patch available for the non-CE version.
Also fixed the colony ships issue geordie mentioned.
Slightly reduced the number of spawned minor races.
Fixed an issue with the unrest order.
Reduced the amount of beams in the Adaptor and the Assembler from 3 to 2.
Tweaked the station construction code, might make the AI build more outposts for expansion; still needs to be improved though.
For the next release of the CE version:
Fixed an issue with extra starting colonies, where the shipyard could be deactivated at game start.
Plus the fixes mentioned above.

Re: Supremacy new release
Some time ago we agreed that the Assembler beams were transferred to the TWH during its construction, so has TWH now 2 beams as well

Re: Supremacy new release
There is still other colony ship issue when, after a complete terraforming, a colony ship is not colonizing given system, but sitting there for several turns and doing nothing, apart waiting for my colony ship to grab it.

Re: Supremacy new release
Do you have a savegame so that I can take a look?
I suppose there's nothing preventing the colony ship from colonizing, like claims etc?

System Korat (45,43), terraformed 100% before turn 230 by the Dominion. Colonized by my Klingons in turn 250.

Re: Supremacy new release
Fixed for the next release.
It was due to the change to make the Borg only colonize systems with resources.

Re: Supremacy new release
I have decided to report below error strongly believing that one of such attempts would help in solving the shipyard slot crashes.
I got that right after choosing from the list a ship to be built. It is (almost) repeatable. The 'almost' means that I got the same error after changing about 20 times in a row ships to be built in that slot.

Re: Supremacy new release
I guess there is a chance it could be related to threading, but may be more likely is that your setup/driver just doesn't like XNA. You are running with pretty modern equipment if I recall right?

Re: Supremacy new release
My PC is about 2 years old, I find it still quite modern, but.... time flies....
I updated the drivers even today morning as the new ones were published just yesterday.
I researched the net and yes, for example an error 'no suitable graphics card found' is connected mainly to XNA games, the most often a game Terraria (don't know it at all).

Re: Supremacy new release
Any way to adjust the UI scaling so that the UI isn't so big when in fullscreen on my ultra-wide? I use Powertoys instead of the built-in windows' window zoning that let me set like a 16:10/closer to 4:3 'main' part of my UW, and can then keep MPC/ file explorer to the side, but XNA (?) REEEAAAAALLY hates not running in fullscreen (I have 13 colonies in this one game and it WILL crash if I try to start shipbuilding on every damn one)
A manual way to adjust the built-in UI scaling without having to use window resizing because i'm in fullscreen in order to NOTCRASH, basically?

Re: Supremacy new release
Which version of the game are you playing? The "normal" version, or the 3d combat engine version? If you're playing the CE version, it's already there. Just go to the main settings menu -> Graphics -> UI scale override.AlexMcpherson79 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 1:55 pm Any way to adjust the UI scaling so that the UI isn't so big when in fullscreen on my ultra-wide? If you're playing the normal version, we could add it there too. Iceman seemed lukewarm to its necessity when I added it to the CE version, but I could just be misinterpreting emails etc.
I haven't tested the scaling feature extensively so let us know if you run into any issues with it.
