Birth of the Federation

Hey Guys,

I just startet a new session of botf with the new 2.0 update in GameRanger.
As host, both of us have extreme lags while scrolling around the map from beginning.
We tried this with different PCs and different map types / sizes.
Do you have the same problems?
Or is this just us by doing anything worng?
Any solutions? :-)

on game ranger Dxwnd is not started, so you need to have the Dxwnd program running in the background.

you should have a desktop icon that looks like this
double click icon to open program before starting a game on gameranger and leave open during game play.

Dxwnd is working fine. Thats not the problem.
We are easylie able to host and join the game from all sites. The problem is that the host, and only the host, has to fight massive lags during the game.
Not in the menus.
This is best seen while scorrling on the map. Right from beginning. No late game lag issues.

do both/all player have this window open before host starts the game?

We even checked if we have all installed the same mods. We have.
