How to check if directplay is active on your system

Directplay is required for BOTF to run so if game will not even start you should check if it is enabled.
This how to check if legacy components/directplay is active on your system
enter this in any folder window
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
on left select "Turn Windows features on or off"
in new window scroll down until you find "Legacy Components" and select box.
