All The Ages Mod: 1.1H Released 11/05/09
This file is now part of the BOTF All in One 1.0.0 installer
All The Ages 1.1 BETA
Using Vanilla 1.0.2 I have replaced the ships for all major races except for the Ferengi (as they have no other ships out there) to try and encompass the entire Trek timeline from Enterprise through the Original Series, movies, Next generation up till the events in Nemesis.
Most of the ships have been replaced for ship pack models available on the BOTF Forum and I've generally tried to make the game a bit more balanced, by retaining but toning down the advantages and disadvantages each empire had in vanilla.
The Empires have had a lot of their buildings changed about, I've changed a few of the minor races, made the tactical combat last a bit longer, and generally changed other things that used to bug me in vanilla.
I've even made some minor alterations to the random events in game.
The full details can be found in the readme file
readme.htm
(comes included with the mod anyway)
******************************************************
As for installation, Thunderchero's instructed me in how to use the self installer programme and has made this all compatible with the multi mod installer project. http://armadafleetcommand.com/onscreen/ ... 48&start=0
You can download the exe from my 4shared folder:
AAM 1.1H
Once downloaded, all you need to do is double click the exe and follow the setup wizard.
[Please bear in mind that this mod is a Beta. Providing there's no issues/errors it'll be added to the downloads section of the forum and i'll edit the url accordingly.]
*******************************************************
All comments, suggestions, bug reports welcome people.
happy gaming

found a tiny flaw... playing as feds on t5 , in both secondary systems the ,"upgrade to listening post" is listed 3 times in the build list, once upgraded the " other two" disappear" so its no big deal.
I've only played 12 turns, but i love the fact that feds have some intel defence ,and the ship list looks great.I'm looking forward to starting an sp game at t1, when time permits and really having a good go at it
and now I really am going to bed
nice one stardust

@ Carcher...yeah giving the feds some intel defence was the second thing I done on here
Long story short, each empire maintains the advantages it had originally, with some toned down a bit and all empires received some abilities to address their weaknesses.
I've also looked into that glitch with the scanners, it's affecting all empires except the Cardassians on Nemesis level.
I've done something to cause the subspace scanner to be listed three times in all colonies at this level, hence the 3 upgrade slots.
But that's been remedied now, and so's the 'tribble oversight'
If nothing else needs changing i'll load this tweaked version up for when it's ready to be added to the downloads section.
And Captaindusk, the download link's in this post for the time being.

Righty.... i've made a few minor tweaks, partly from observations i've had on here and partly things that i've seen myself.
1.1a
Home systems now have planets left to terra form on the 2 earliest starting levels. Forth planet in Romulan system is now Remus.
Stats slightly altered for Romulan cruiser II and Federation light cruiser II
Some spelling mistakes corrected (bet you’ll find more though)
The glitch involving the Subspace scanner being listed three times in the build screen has been corrected.
Tribble is a star name now (thanks Carcher).
I've updated the links in my original post for the installer and readme but i'll post them below as well.
All the Ages 1.1a.rar For the installer
readme.htm
for the readme if anyone wants to view this seperatley

It's in my 4shared account (link above) as it's still an early beta.
Once any kinks have been ironed out and one or two other minor things i know that need to be done it'll find a nice home in the downloads section

I've been touching up the Ferengi ships. Just minor things really, highlighting the windows, nacelle colors, hull plating tc and made the Gint Class look a bit more like it has some weapons fitted to it. Ones on the left are the originals, ones on the right are after i've touched them up. I've touched their other ships up in the same way.
EDIT: I've now updated the pic to show all ship models, originals on left, mine on right now i've finished playing about with them.

Wow this looks cool. specially the highlighted windows. Very well done work there.
Couldn't test the mod as yet cause I hadn't got time but I'll take a look as soon as possible. I bet it rocks as I checked out the ship lists already. I also like the idea of having the Tribble homeworld implemented. So finally one can play as klingons and erase them from the galaxy ^^. I bet I'll enjoy doing so as soon as I find some time to play.
So long.
