Re: mpr++ 0.2.5a [update]
Just found this project out, and I just want to say THANK YOU FLOCKE for the effort that you put in! It increased the stability of my game 500%. Almost ZERO crashes and no sweat when entering tactical battles. Thank you again!

Flocke, me too just wants to say "thank you". Your "upgrade" is a really good addition - with it i had no botf related and/or typical crashes anymore.
Keep the great work just going on.

when installing select the folder you want it installed to (install path of vanilla and or mods) for every instance of botf you would need to install again.joshua75 wrote:Sorry, but I have absolutely no idea how to get this working...

this project has nothing to do with map size or extra system per map. you should look at this tutorialjoshua75 wrote:...any way of altering the map size to contain more systems?...tried java & UE7 but that didn't work.
but with out major changes adding more system per map is not easy (it is limited to system names list).

Re: mpr++ 0.2.5a [update]
hi people
Me and my brother playing time for the latest version of UDMIII 3.0.1db 1024 size in multiplayer mode. Since we mpr 0.2.5a + + program on it have almost no more crashes in 3d mode. But for that very slowly in 3D combat mode when you have so more than 100 + ships is almost as time-motion with mouse cursor because this is really bad. And another question is why my program is not really to play in full screen mode? When I Maximize the window I see the Windows toolbar. So we tried it without the program (mpr + +0.2.5 a) to play in 3d mode only crashes when coming to the main battle. The program is really great when there's the 3D hand combat mode problem creeps in (speed). The latest version of the UDMIII 3.0.1db really great I love it. THE AI is extremely strong on impossible ^ ^

Re: mpr++ 0.2.5a [update]
hi Sweethawk, thanks for the greetings!
Not sure if I got you right in the last part. But funnily I already talked on 1024x768 combat crashes with thunderchero earlier today. These crashes are somehow related to the higher resolution with the old engine. Currently he's working on a 800x600 release to counter these problems he told.
As for mpr++, to maximize the window use f8 key.
I'm working on the speed issues but will need more time to get it solved.
Cause of this there might be no public releases the next few months. Use of current improvements is rather limited and I don't wanna bring up old issues again, at least not that a slow combat.
cheers, Flocke

Re: mpr++ 0.2.5a
yes, just select the correct install path during installation (installer needs to be ran on each mod)
just select base folder of mod (C:\BOTF\AAM and C:\BOTF\AAML)

Re: mpr++ 0.2.5a
Awesome, thanks.
Any idea why the interface seems slightly blurred in full screen? And is there any way to increase the mouse cursor speed? (seems a little slow in the galaxy and main menu, but ok in combat).
